Sources have disclosed that the next iPhone will be like the transition
from the iPhone 3G to the 3GS, rather than the 3GS to the iPhone 4.
According to Apple, there are many new features about the new iPhone 4S,
but what could Apple really do to improve the already brilliant iPhone
4? Well, one thing they are squeezing into the little device is full
1080p recording, a great improvement on the current 720p camera. Another
thing said to be in the new device is a faster processor. They have
officially announced that it will be using the new A5 chip, the same as
in the new iPad 2. It is also said to have two antennae that will
automatically switch to give you a better reception. It will also come
with an all new iOS5, with all of its cool new features. These few
tweaks will certainly improve on the current model, but with the iPhone 5
just around the corner, and new devices like the Samsung Galaxy IIS and
Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc S coming out, will it be enough to survive in
today’s overcrowded smartphone market?
